Contains excerpts from the landmark 600-page decision, issued on May 10, 2006, which determined that abortion could not be considered a crime in three circumstances: When the pregnancy poses a risk to the life or health (physical or mental) of the woman, when the pregnancy is a result of rape or incest, or when the fetus is diagnosed with grave malformations that make life outside of the uterus unviable.
