Before joining Women’s Link, Franco worked for law firms for five years. At KPMG, he worked with the business and corporate law team, and at Brigard Urrutia Abogados, he was a member of the litigation, arbitration, and bankruptcy unit. At Women’s Link, he worked as an intern on the sexual and reproductive rights and human trafficking initiatives before joining the organization’s staff.

Franco studied French at the Paul-Valéry University in Montpellier, France. He then completed his Dual Bachelor’s Degrees in Music and Law at the University of the Andes, graduating Cum Laude in Law. He later obtained his Master's degree at the Universidad Externado de Colombia with a thesis on the relationship between investment law and the international human rights framework in the Colombian post-conflict context.
