I began my career at the Colombian human rights advocacy organization Colectivo de Abogados José Alvear Restrepo as a legal assistant in administrative litigation. Between April 2014 and July 2019, I practiced law in the litigation and legal protection section of the Colombian Commission of Jurists, where I represented victims of serious human rights violations committed by state actors, paramilitary groups, and guerilla groups before domestic and international bodies. Between January and June 2018, I was a visiting professional in the judgment compliance monitoring unit of the Inter-American Court of Human Rights.

I hold a law degree from Universidad del Rosario, a specialization in human rights and international law from Universidad Nacional de Colombia, and a specialization in environmental law from Universidad del Rosario. I hold a master’s in law at the University of the Andes.
