Marisa received her bachelor’s in Women and Gender studies and Latin American and Latino studies from DePaul University in Chicago.
She currently lives in Chicago.
Before joining Women’s Link, Marisa worked in the development department at the National Immigrant Justice Center in Chicago, a nonprofit in the United States dedicated to providing legal services to low-income immigrants in the United States. Prior to working in fundraising, Marisa worked in higher education working with college students.
